KOT Student Partner Program FAQ
KOT Student Partner Program is all about a global community of on-campus student partners that can help themselves groom and take part in ongoing technical and managerial activities.
KOT Student Partner Program is a global community of university students who passionately share their knowledge with their peers. However, it’s not enough to be a budding technologist that can amplify to the broad community – we also expect that Student Partners exemplifies KOT Enterprises (Private) Limited values and display community spirit in a positive way by conducting themselves with respect and restraint whenever they engage with others within and outside the Program. Simply put, an individual’s character and leadership truly matter to us.
The Code of Conduct is intended to provide individuals considering participation in the program, as well as the public, with the standards we put forth for our community.
To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, have valid identification, and be actively enrolled in an accredited, higher education academic institution.
We encourage students from all academic backgrounds who want to grow their career and tech skills while making a difference in their communities to apply. Some experience in coding or technology is helpful, but we have tools and resources to help you learn in the program.
It means you’ll be supported while you build community, make a difference, lead others, learn and share. You’ll get access to resources and experts to help you on your journey, including exclusive entry into our global student network. You’ll connect with experts on Microsoft Teams. and all our online community channels.
As it turns out, earning these benefits involves doing some pretty fun things. We have multiple milestones for our Student Partners:
Insiders - Complete Some Learning resources path and work on them with a company, Prepare for our certification tracks offers can get discount coupons on various things
VIP - Host an event in your community to unlock event support and resource benefits. This effort could include an invitation to join our annual Summit.
VVIP - Get invited to the Elite milestone when you’ve gone above and beyond in earning your badges and serving your local community. You’ll become a City Leader, gain access to special events, and maybe be invited to become a KOT Gold Valuable Professional (GVP).
The program will give you back as much as you want to invest in it, and time commitment is flexible around your other responsibilities. The more time you invest in learning, leading, hosting workshops, and such, the more likely you are to achieve additional milestones and access new benefits.
All KOT Student Partners have access to our global student network and experts on Microsoft Teams, where the community posts updates on workshops and events they’ve hosted, tech skills they’re learning, opportunities to connect, and more.
In addition, you could consider what technology skills your community or peers would find most helpful to learn.
The Student Partner program prepares students for future careers through opportunities to build vibrant communities and share the latest in tech with their peers. Through exclusive access to resources, help to build hands-on experience
In addition, you have the opportunity to develop your leadership and entrepreneurship skills through hosting events on your campus, networking with other students and professionals, and building interdisciplinary skills, such as public speaking, and social media, and personal branding.
You can fill out the program application online, where you’ll also learn about the deadline date. New students are accepted into the program quarterly. Included in the application are sections for a written sample, technology skills, and a short video introduction so we can get to know you and why you’re passionate about becoming a KOT Student Partner.
The Program is open globally, we welcome applications from all around the globe.
